Dr. David Hixon
Dr. Hixon believes that God has placed FBCWS in this location for a divine purpose. Our vision is that we would be salt and light here and around the world as we seek to reach the lost for the Kingdom, while ministering to the body of believers. David, and his wife Jennifer, have six children and three precious grandchildren. They have been ministering here since 2005. David has an M.Div and a D.Min. from Southwestern Seminary.

Stephen Passmore
Minister of Worship
Stephen began his service at FBCWS as Minister of Music November of 2001. He received a Bachelor of Music from Texas Wesleyan University and attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Ordained to the Ministry, Stephen finds his passion is leading in worship and praise of his Lord. He married his high school sweetheart Elizabeth Akers in 1977 and lives on the west side of Fort Worth. Stephen and Elizabeth have two grown children. Among many responsibilities at the church Stephen also is an insurance agent with his own agency and loves photography, golf, and just about anything outdoors. Stephen claims Romans 12:1-2 as his life verse. Stephen seeks to be "a living sacrifice" that is "holy acceptable . . . not conforming to the world" and to "be transformed by renewing" a mind and life for Christ.
