Kids and Students
Adventure Kids (Birth-6th)
At FBCWS we believe parents are the primary disciplers of their children. Our Kids Ministry desires to come alongside parents and provide resources to help them encourage spiritual growth in their kids, while supporting and nurturing that pursuit of God while they attend activities at the church.
Weekly activities for Kids
Sundays at 9:00am
During our Bible Study Class time on Sunday mornings we have classes available for all ages. For Preschool age kids this time includes exciting songs and introduction of biblical truths on their level. K-6th meets for a small group time for discovering God's word and fun activities.
Sundays at 10:30am
One of our values at FBCWS is multi-generational worship. Kids K-6th join their parents for our main worship service. Mid-way through the service we dismiss children with our Kids Ministry team for "Kids Church" a time of exciting adventure as they discover more of who God is. Childcare for Nursery and Pre-K children is available during the entire Worship service.
Wednesdays at 6:00pm
Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:00pm our Kids Ministry meets for a time of fun songs and exciting activities all aimed are challenging Kids, K-6th, to know God more and make Him known! Childcare is available for kids 5 and under.
Students (7th-12th Grade)
The FBCWS Student Ministry is a place where teens can feel like they belong as they are encouraged to love God and love people. We do this by giving students space to call their own where we are intentional about teaching them the truths of God's word and what it means to be a disciple of Christ.
Weekly Activities for Students
Sundays at 9:00am
Sunday mornings during our Bible Study Class time the Student Ministry meets in their space upstairs for a time of Bible Study and discussion with relevant lessons that help them know God's word and apply it to their culture and life.
Sundays at 10:30am
Our desire is for teenagers to be comfortable worshipping alongside believers of all ages. So we do not offer any separate service for students during our main worship service. We encourage 7th-12th grade students to join us for
multi-generational worship at 10:50am in the worship center.
Wednesdays at 6:00pm
On Wednesday nights, 7th-12th grade students have a time of fun games, relevant teaching, and worship as they meet together to recharge spiritually in the middle of the week. The FBCWS Student Ministry meets from 6pm to 7pm on Wednesday nights.
