Ministries

Adventure Kids (K-6th)

At FBCWS we want kids to feel safe, loved, and known as they discover who Jesus is and how He loves them!

Kids meet Sundays at 9:00am for Bible Study and 10:30am for Adventure Kids after participating in the first part of our worship service. Adventure Kids also meet on Family Night, Wednesdays at 5:30pm.

Students (7th-12th)

In middle school and high school, teenagers have an excellent opportunity to discover who God has created them to be. We desire to help guide them in that journey.

Students meet Sundays at 9:00am in the Student Room (downstairs) for Bible Study, and Wednesdays at 5:30pm.

Other Ministries

Adult Groups

Adults meet for Bible Study Classes on Sundays at 9:00am and for our Mid-Week Bible Study, led by Pastor Kyle, as part of Family Night each Wednesday starting at 5:30pm.

If you’re interested in joining one of our groups, reach out to us at info@fbcws.org

Outreach and Benevolence Teams

We have teams at our church that are passionate about reaching others and meeting the needs of others. Our Outreach Team plans projects and opportunities to connect with our community and show care to others. Our Benevolence Team manages the regular requests for assistance from the church as well as planning regular care initiatives. If you’re interested in either of these teams, email info@fbcws.org.

Global Missions

Over the past two years, FBCWS has been prayerfully exploring what area of the world we can invest our global missions efforts in. In November of 2024 we completed a vision trip to Thailand and our team felt a call to pursue long term ministry in that country through annual trips and support of missionaries. FBCWS is also an annual supporter of the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering which raises funds for global missions through the IMB. If you’re interested in learning more about how you can get involved in global missions at FBCWS, email info@fbcws.org.

A Family for the Community

At First Baptist White Settlement, we seek to be richly involved in our local community. We do that through partnering with several efforts and ministries in our city.

Academy 4

Academy 4 is an incredibly faith founded organization that partners with elementary schools to provide mentors for each fourth grade student. FBCWS partners with Academy 4 by providing mentors and club leaders for A4 Spark Clubs for North Elementary in White Settlement ISD.

White Settlement Police Department

Since 2022, Pastor Kyle and Chief Cook of the WSPD have organized and started the White Settlement Pastors Coalition. This is a way for faith leaders in White Settlement and West Fort Worth to keep in close contact with what is going on in our city. Pastor Kyle also serves as a chaplain for the WSPD and in this role he creates several ministry opportunities for our church members to bless and encourage our local law enforcement officers.

City of White Settlement

As we seek to be a family for the community here in White Settlement and West Fort Worth, we make every effort to support and be present at city events. Whether it is setting up a craft booth at the Fourth of July event or hosting the float parking for the Christmas Parade, you can almost always find FBCWS folks joyfully blessing our city.
