Windows of Faith is a ministry for widows to find friendship, encouragement, and Christ-centered community.
Join us on the second Thursday of each month from 12:00–3:00 PM for an afternoon of fellowship featuring a potluck meal, games, meaningful conversation, and prayer. Whether you've attended before or are joining us for the first time, you'll find a caring group of women who are committed to supporting and encouraging one another through every season of life.

Student Ministry Movie Night
Students 6th-12th grade are invited to a movie night at FBCWS! We will provide snacks and drinks, so come hang out Friday, August 21st at 7pm.
Worship Night
Join us for a special Worship Night on Sunday, August 23 at 6:00 PM as we gather together to lift our voices in praise and reflect on the goodness of God.
Led by our Worship Pastor, Oliver Gibbs, and our worship ministry team, this evening will be centered on worship through music, Scripture, and prayer. Whether you've had a week filled with joy or one filled with challenges, this will be an opportunity to pause, remember God's faithfulness, and respond to Him with grateful hearts.

Student Summer Camp 2026
This year's Student Summer Camp is July 13-18 at Falls Creek in Oklahoma.
This year's theme is The Greatest.
Many struggle with the question of what’s next after trusting Christ for salvation. God has been very clear in his word that our life in Christ takes us and others somewhere. It leads to action. We become a part of God’s mission in the world by engaging in the mandate he left for his people. VBS 2026: The Wild and Wonderful Adventure
Kids K-6th grade! Join us for The Wild and Wonderful Adventure at VBS 2026!
At VBS, kids will marvel at the incredible life of Jesus and how it calls us all to a life of adventure!

Serving at North Elementary Curriculum Night
North Elementary’s Curriculum Night is Tuesday, May 5, and our church has been invited to serve by providing store-bought refreshments and hosting a welcome table to connect with families. Donations are appreciated and volunteers are needed to help us make this a great evening for the school community.
Church Family Meeting and Student Ministry Fundraiser
Join us for our quarterly Church Family Meeting! We’ll share updates about church ministries, discuss upcoming events, and look ahead to the next quarter together. The Student Ministry is serving lunch as a fundraiser for Summer Camp. Donations are not required, but are appreciated.

Student Ministry Dr. Pepper Museum Trip
Join FBCWS Students on May 2nd for a Trip to the hisotirc Dr Pepper Museum in Waco, TX! The cost is $30 per person and will cover admission and the Make-A-Soda experience. We also ask that students bring money for lunch in Waco.
Student Ministry Spring Retreat
The FBCWS Students Spring Retreat will be an awesome weekend for 7th-12th graders to hang out, have fun, and grow in their relationship with God. Cost is $40 per student. Drop off will be at FBCWS on Friday, April 10th at 6:00pm and students will return at church on Sunday, April 12th at 9:00am.
Good Friday Service
Join us for a time of communion, worship and reflection as we remember the sacrifice our savior, Jesus, made on the cross.
The children’s ministry will have a special class during this time as well to reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus in a age appropriate way.
Palm Sunday & Kids Easter Egg Hunt
Families are invited to join us on March 29 for Palm Sunday. Children will take part in our 10:30am worship service as we celebrate the triumphal entry of Christ that begins Holy Week. The service will be followed by an Easter egg hunt for Pre-K through 6th grade after the service. We hope you’ll join us!
Registration is not required to participate, but you can help us prepare for the event by letting us know you’re coming!
Kids Art Camp
On March 16–17, kids (K-6th) are invited to enjoy a variety of art projects and creative activities while learning to celebrate the creativity God has given them. This is a great activity for kids to kickstart Spring Break!
Men's Breakfast
Men are invited to gather on March 7 for breakfast, fellowship, worship, and prayer as we encourage one another in faith and community.
Worship Team Interest Lunch
Curious about serving on the worship or tech team? Join us for a brief lunch immediately after the service on February 22 to ask questions and learn how to get involved.
Students Mystery Game Night
On February 6, students are invited to a fun night of hanging out and solving a “murder mystery” together. Expect games, laughter, and lots of fun!

Christmas Eve Service
On Christmas Eve, we gather as a church family to celebrate the coming of Jesus, our Savior. This meaningful service includes carols, communion, and candlelight, reminding us of the hope and anticipation that filled the night of His birth.
Join us on Wednesday, December 24, at 4:30pm as we worship together and give thanks for God’s greatest gift—His Son.
Service of Remembrance
The holidays can be difficult as we remember loved ones who have passed. Join us for a meaningful evening of reflection and hope as we read names, light candles, and honor their memory. Each attendee will receive a keepsake ornament, with refreshments and fellowship to follow.

Thailand Mission Trip Interest Meeting
Join us for an exciting opportunity to learn more about our upcoming mission trip to Thailand in the summer of 2026!
We’ll gather immediately following the morning service (around 11:30am) in the Fellowship Hall. A complimentary lunch will be provided for all who attend.

Student Ministry Trivia Night
7th-12th graders! You’re invited to a night of brain teasing fun at Trivia Night.
Bring a friend and come hang out with us while we play some trivia games and see who is the biggest know-it-all in the group!
Lord's Supper Sunday
Join us for our Sunday morning worship service as we partake in one of the special elements of our faith, The Lord’s Supper. This meaningful time response in worship allows us to unite as a church family in remembrance of our Savior’s sacrifice on the cross.

Church Family Meeting
Join us for our next quarterly Church Family Meeting. At each Church Family Meeting we discuss church business, get ministry updates, and occasionally hold member votes decisions if necessary.
More than just the discussion, this is a time to fellowship as a church family. We will serve a potluck lunch and we invite you to bring a side or dessert to share, while our meal team will provide the main dish. All are welcome to attend, you do not need to be a church member to join us for this meeting.

Student Ministry Water Park Day
Join us July 26th for a day of fun at the Splash Kingdom Waterpark in Hudson Oaks! The Cost is $25 per student which inculdes admission and meal voucher. We will leave from the Church at 10:30 am and return to the Church at 4:30 pm. Make sure your student brings: an appropriate swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen!

Family Night
Every Wednesday we gather for a time of fellowship and discipleship at FBCWS. Everyone gathers for a meal in the Fellowship Hall at 5:30pm and then, at around 6:15pm, Kids go to Adventure Kids, Students head to the Student Ministry Room and adults stay in the Fellowship Hall for a time of Bible Study. Each week is a great opportunity to build relationships within our church family, and grow in your relationship with The Lord!
Student Summer Camp
This year's Student Summer Camp is June 30-July 5 at Falls Creek in Oklahoma.
The theme for this year's Summer Camp is Level Up
We often think of spiritual growth as production and miss the fact that growth in the Christian life starts with and is dependent upon God’s work more than our effort. We think the answer is to work hard, to become disciplined, to fight when to level up, we must first become less. This isn’t easy and doesn’t come naturally.
This summer we will walk through James 4 and look at the attitudes with which we pursue a life of spiritual discipline in Christ. As believers, we are to take the posture of:
